In most scenarios, there is NO restocking fee. As long as the part is unopened, a full refund will be issued on orders returned within 60 days from date of purchase. The only exceptions are special ordered items and electrical parts (both of which are non-returnable). Gasket kits will be charged a 20% restocking fee. This fee is to cover our cost of returning these items to vendors. However, if you feel that we have ordered you the wrong part, we will do everything in our ability to make things right. We are a family business and your satisfaction is of utmost importance to us.
We do require a Return Authorization Number – (RA#) to receive credit for returns. Your default RA# is your order number. To ensure credit is returned to the correct customer, please enclose a copy of your order with the return. If you have any questions about this, please contact us via email. We need this information to make sure that we handle your return correctly and get your credit back to you as quickly as possible. Please ensure that you have labeled your package on multiple sides of the box with your RA#. All returns must be in original boxes and be complete with any user/installation manual, gasket kits, mounting kits, etc.
PeteTruckParts.com is not responsible for undelivered or returned packages. PeteTruckParts.com reserves the right to refuse any refund due to damage or misuse. Digital downloads are non-refundable.
Core Return Policy: Some items have a core charge associated with a portion of the part which may be recycled or reused by its’ original manufacturer. Products with a core have an additional charge associated which may be credited back to the card used to purchase the part. Core returns also require a Return Authorization Number – (RA#) to receive credit and may be obtained by contacting us via email. Please note: It is the customer’s responsibility to pay any shipping cost associated with returning core item(s). There is no shipping charge if you bring the core return back to one of our branch locations.
Warranty return policy: If you have a warranty claim, you must return the part to us and we will submit it for warranty. Most times, this is a 3 week or longer process. If you need the part prior to us receiving warranty decision back from our supplier, then you must purchase another part. When and if the warranty claim is accepted, we will then credit your account with the proper amount or send you the replacement part.
